In My Mailbox *25*

Created by The Story Siren who was inspired by Alea.
So my Waldens officially closed this week. Their last day was Tuesday and we went by there. It was so sad! I've come to know the workers and adore a few of them and it was pretty sad to see them packing up the store and everything, but there's a bright side (sorta). They're putting in another bookstore! Yay! BUT! On the downside, I am moving sometime next month and it will put me 20 minutes from any bookstore that's not going to try and sell me Jesus. (I mean no offense to anyone by that comment, it's just around here when you go into a Christian bookstore, they shove religion down your throat).

Anyways, two of these I got this week and two last week, I just forgot them in the hugeness that was last weeks IMM. (if you need a refresher, click here).

Candor by Pam Bachorz (read my review here)
Perfect Chemistry by Simon Elkeles
Ex-Mas by Kate Brian
Immortal by Various Authors, Edited by P.C. Cast
That's what was in my mailbox this week, what did you get in yours?

  1. Awww, moving sucks!

On the Bright Side, YAY Perfect Chemistry!!

  2. Nice group of books! Sorry about the bookstore closing. You'll have to shop online.

I liked the stories in Immortal and I have but have not yet read Ex-mas and Perfect Chemistry.

    Happy reading!

  3. These books all look really good! Hopefully your move goes well! Enjoy all of your books! :)

I have a contest running on my blog right now for the book Break by Hannah Moskowitz. Feel free to check it out. :)

  4. It is hard when you don't live close to a decent bookstore. The only bookstore near me is a Christian bookstore (which I sometimes shop at) so I usually do my book shopping online or when I go to a bigger city.

Candor and Perfect Chemistry are both on my TBR list.

Here is what is in my mailbox:

  5. Good books! Too bad you are moving away from your book store!

  6. Yeay! on the great books this week. Sorry to see you fav book store closed up.

  7. Perfect Chemistry looks brilliant, I can't wait to read it.

Check out what was in my mailbox this week :)

  8. 3 of your books are on my wish list.. Enjoy them!

Please stop by my blog and check out mine! :)

  9. Ick, I hate moving. Hope it goes smoothly :) Enjoy your new books!

  10. It's sad that so many bookstores are closing these days. And it's a shame the Christian bookstores in your area can't offer their books, and nurture customers' faith, without trying to proselytize everyone who wanders in. :-) No one likes someone trying to force feed them religion. Ick!

Your books look great. I keep reading magnificent reviews of Perfect Chemistry -- I have it on hold at the library. Enjoy!

  11. I really enjoyed Candor and Perfect Chemistry - I hope you do as well! :)

  12. Great books! Perfect Chemistry is amazing, hope you enjoy it!
